I work with English-speaking adults to untangle these patterns, heal from the impact of past experiences, and develop a stronger, more authentic sense of self — in person in Sevilla, and online across Spain and the UK.
My approach is relational and trauma-informed, offering a compassionate space to explore how your past has shaped your present, and to begin creating healthier ways of relating, both to others and to yourself.

Welcome, I’m Catriona.
I’m a BACP-Registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist.
The experiences we go through in childhood leave a lasting imprint, shaping how we see ourselves and how we relate to others. Often, without realising it, we find ourselves caught in the same emotional cycles, drawn to familiar situations that replay old wounds. These patterns can feel frustrating or even hopeless, but they are not permanent. With greater awareness and understanding, change is possible. New, healthier ways of relating, to others and to ourselves, can take their place.
Whether you’re living abroad or navigating life back home, moments of transition often bring these deeper patterns to the surface. Moving countries, starting a new relationship, or facing burnout can all stir up questions of identity, belonging, and self-worth. When we don’t feel grounded in who we are, it’s easy to feel lost, anxious, or disconnected from ourselves and others.
My role as a therapist is to help you slow down and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, to understand the roots of your anxiety, self-doubt, or low mood, and to work gently with the beliefs and defences that once kept you safe but now hold you back. Together, we can untangle old family dynamics, heal emotional wounds, and create space for a more authentic, fulfilling life.
